Recommendations for alternate software to Photos builtin Create book?
:Does "Create Book" no longer work for you at all on macOs 10.13.6? Or are you just seeing the warning, that all orders fro print products have to be placed before September 30? You should still be able to create a book in macOs 10.13.6, but have to get it ready for printing by September 30.

For future books and other print products download Mimeo from the App Store. It is free, and will install an extension that lets you create books and calendars in Photos.
If you save the PDFs of the books you already created, you can have them printed Prest Photos or other print services.
